  • The Loop can be accessed from the sidewalk to the south of StorQuest.

Ride Options


Ride hard or cruise and stop frequently. The beauty of The Loop is that it's great for all levels of motivation. Some highlights of your ride include (listed distances are one way):

Westbound from rental location

  • Rillito River Wash - Not really a river most days, but a natural corridor offering mountain views and wildlife.
  • Children's Memorial Park - 1½ miles. Water, bathrooms, shaded picnic areas.
  • Sun Circle - 3 miles. Ceremonial structure that tracks the sun. Inspired by the great kiva at Chaco Canyon.
  • Curtis Park - 4 miles. Water, bathrooms, shade. Nearby, a convenience store for a snack break.
  • Flowing Wells Park - 5 miles. Another nice park. Next to a BMX track that can be fun to watch.
  • Santa Cruz Path Connector - 6 miles. Pass under I-10 to connect to a different section of The Loop.
  • Silverbell Lake & Sweetwater Wetlands - 9 miles. A chance to get off your bike and stroll around some terrific water features. Bathrooms, shade, and water. Recommended turnaround.

Eastbound from rental location

  • Rillito River Wash - Not really a river most days, but a natural corridor offering mountain views and wildlife.
  • Rillito Farmers Market - ½ mile. Bathrooms, water, shade. Market open Sunday mornings.
  • Trader Joe's - 1 mile. In case you need a snack or coffee and it's not Sunday!
  • Rio Vista Natural Resource Park - 2 miles. Paths, water, bathrooms, shade.
  • Brandi Fenton - 3 miles. A nice park with water, bathrooms, shade, a garden, and Binghampton Historic sites.
  • Riverhaven Trailhead Park - 4 miles. Bathrooms, water, shade. Nice, quiet trail section east of here.
  • Craycroft Park - 6 miles. Bathrooms, water, shade. Turnaround required.
