Have you made your 2016 resolutions? Experts agree that writing down your goals is an important step. Many residents of Barrio Viejo, a historic neighborhood just south of downtown Tucson, shove written wishes into the walls of El Tiradito Shrine and burn a candle to help make their wishes come true. This past New Year, Tucson Bike Tours rode to El Tiradito to participate in the tradition with a New Year's resolution twist.
“I made some wishes and lit a candle at El Tiradito myself,” said owner and lead bicycle guide Jimmy Bultman. “I didn't hit my weight goal last year. My job is my exercise routine, so I’m going to wish for more tours in 2016. Our first year was successful, the feedback from locals and tourists alike has been amazing, but we’re still building awareness for Tucson Bike Tours.”
